PUBLIC POLICY
The AAUW Monterey Peninsula Branch takes its direction on public policy from our national and state associations. Association priorities for advocacy are established annually with input from the local branches. High priority is placed on those issues related to: a woman's right to choose, equal opportunity and access to public supported education, health care, and economic self- sufficiency for women.
The American Association of University Women Promotes equity for all women and girls, lifelong education, and positive societal change.
